Enough hand-wringing over the death of Print! The American Press should re-orient their business to their readers' desires, according to Larry Kramer.

Kramer's Op-Ed at The Daily Beast is a lively enough read, but the management here in SoFlo has developed a bunker mentality and a deaf ear.

Out on the West Coast, Dan Richman reports that about 150 Bloggers, Media workers, Academics, and engaged residents got together in Seattle to discuss the prospects of "A No-Newspaper Town."

Some highlights:

-- Prof Jay Rosen from NYU
contributed to the discussion "remotely."

-- Metroblogging Seattle
author Dylan Wilbanks participated.

-- There's a Twitter thread for it, too.
