Green Iran at the UN -

Hundreds of "Greenies" have been demonstrating near the UN to protest the appearance of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad representing them as their president. See link to photo below.

Iran is a theocracy run by clerics; the position of president is mostly ceremonial. The clerics have to authorize the candidates for the popular contest. The results of the June contest are still under contention. And the clerics have been unable to stop the dispute.

Yesterday, I was going to say that I haven't had a reader from Iran in maybe a week; but today, I got one. I don't know whether they're blocking me or not.
