Meredith Kercher Murder Case -

Contrary to rumors circulating on the Internet, product endorsements have not been announced by her family's Public Relations firm, but the campaign to exonerate Amanda Knox and turn her into a media celebrity continues rather aggressively, as Andrea Vogt reports today.

On Dec 5th, Amanda Knox was convicted of the murder of Meredith Kercher, sexual assault, staging a crime scene and slander. She has been sentenced to 26 years in prison, but is currently in the process of appeal.

Knox is incarcerated in a hospitality suite at the Capanne detainment facility in Umbria, where she has access to hairdressing accommodations and other amenities with ample visitation provisions.

According to AP reporter Patricia Thomas, the Capanne facility is a new facility and "very clean." Thomas provides some further description in a recent ABC article.
