Megan Garber, whose writings we have noted here before, attended the Journalism Conference in Perugia. She's posted an interview she conducted with La Repubblica's Vittorio Zambardino.

Among other things, he describes a hostile atmosphere for citizen journalism and blogging.

Psychiatry Professor Fabrizio Schifano notes the high incidence of cocaine involvement in violent crimes for the May edition of Focus Magazine on sale this week in Italy.

He explains that a cocaine addict could violently attack another person because he sees his target as a persecutor.

Based on the statistics he cites, he suggests the possibility that cocaine was involved in the Meredith Kercher Homicide.
