Maritime Interdictions (2#) -

Henning Mankell, the Swedish author of the Wallander stories, tells of his adventure on the high seas when captured by the Jewish Coast Guard. Oh, My God, the Jews have a Coast Guard? Who do they think they are - Swedes?

Not a word from him about
the constant rocket attacks from Gaza.

But, in reality, how common are these maritime interdictions? Here in South Florida, they are very common. We just had one this past week. They happen around here all the time.

Will Mankell ever get over
his shock that there is a Jewish Coast Guard?

Probably not; because Mankell, who was born in 1948, is obviously preoccupied with the issue of Entitlement. And, clearly, he doesn't think Jews should have any.

Consequently, he has decided to prohibit
his books from being translated into Hebrew.
