Shadowplays On The Net (3#) -

The Guardian has attempted to shed some light on the identities of the hackers who are believed to be involved in the recent series of controversies. Josh Halliday describes a small handful of ringleaders. For example, "Sabu" has been identified as the founder and chief of LulzSec.

But, just when you thought you were getting to know them, they have announced that they are disbanding as a group.

# The Amanda Knox Case is quiet this weekend. I believe the next court session is scheduled for Monday. But the overall situation itself, outside the courtroom, is still active on the Internet, where a full-tilt sideshow is roiling at the GroundReport website, although the identities of the participants cannot be verified.

The latest entry, dubbed Super-Lawyer, is mostly doubletalk, smoke and mirrors; designed to be provocative in order to agitate its readers; and, naturally, it is unsigned.

Although this does not seem to have any direct connection to Amanda Knox herself, it does seem to be part of a larger campaign that's been going on to discredit the Perugia legal and law enforcement system. Thus, anyone who appears to support that system could become a target, too.
