Sequestered Painting -

Alex Leary reports that Federal authorities are seizing a more than 400-year-old Italian painting from Milan that has been on display at a Tallahassee Florida museum, due to disputed provenance via an alleged Nazi theft.

The Baroque painting may have been auctioned off by the Vichy government in 1941 to pay its debts, but they may have been fencing stolen property.
