Mez: NO HOUSE ARREST (2#) -

The Meredith Kercher Murder Case -

And then there were two . . .

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito, formally indicted last night for the murder of Meredith Kercher, have been denied release from prison into a house arrest arrangement.

Knox, an honor student from Seattle, Washington, is suspected of murdering her Eurasian roommate in complicity with her wealthy Italian boyfriend, Sollecito.

The third principal suspect in the crime, Rudy Guede, an African boulevardier, was found in hard evidence to have been present at the scene of the crime under still-nebulous circumstances.

Alleged residues of Knox's bare footprints in blood were recovered from the crime scene.

The judge released a 17-page decision, but, so far, the only reasons cited are flight risk and danger of recurrence. The trial is scheduled to begin Dec 4th.
