American newspapers, which are experiencing an advertising downturn, are getting together in consortiums in an attempt to increases revenues from the Internet.
McClatchy is involved in a Yahoo arrangement, but Yahoo has been having its own problems lately. And McClatchy is very late in pursuing this avenue.
I am saddened by what has happened to Yahoo, which has gone through a series of changes bringing increasing and unwieldy prolixity to it.
